Guizhou Anjiu
In the Chinese liquor industry, Anjiu has made remarkable achievements. From 1930, Zhou Shaocheng, who was born in a family of traditional Chinese medicine, used the secret recipe of ancestral Chinese herbal medicine to make distiller's yeast with hundreds of herbs. After years of painstaking research, "Anjiu", which was known as "bring aroma to half of the city after opened", was brewed; in 1951, State-run Anjiu Distillery was founded, and another famous liquor State-run Moutai Distillery was found in the same year; in 1955, Guizhou Anjiu and Moutai were chosen as "Class A Famous Liquor" in China at the same time; thereafter, Guizhou Anjiu and Moutai were also rated as the title "Famous Liquor in Guizhou" and chosen as one of "Eight Famous Liquor in Guizhou" at the same time in 1963, 1979, 1983 and 1986. In 1978, Guizhou Anjiu was conferred with the "Major Scientific and Technological Achievement Award" by Science Conference in China, taking advantage of reform, Guizhou Anjiu launched the marketization road. In 1988, Guizhou Anjiu Group—the first liquor group in China had the annual output exceeding 20 thousand tons, which ranked the first place for 4 consecutive years. Several Party and state leaders visited Anjiu and provided a new blueprint for Anjiu.
At the new era, Guizhou Anjiu takes root at China’s soy sauce aroma style liquor base--Xishui Production Area at the riverbank of Chishui in Guizhou Province, focuses on brewing high-quality soy sauce aroma style liquor and devotes to creating a "leading brand of soy sauce aroma style liquor in China".

Guizhou Anjiu is expanding its production capacity, making layout on products, improving quality and strengthening its brand with the state of "acceleration". In the brand connotation remodeling, Guizhou Anjiu is defined as "an exquisite liquor". In the product line positioning, the single product “Guizhou Anjiu· Classic” is launched. From July 2021 to July 2024, Guizhou Anjiu signed a contract with the brand spokesperson Jiang Wen. It has launched a large number of ads on CCTV, digital media and high-speed railway screens and initiated high-end appreciation meeting "Anjiu Banquet" in various regions. Anjiu has taken a powerful position as a super brand. In 2022, the scale of starter propagation will reach 40,000 tons, and the grain input will reach more than 36,000 tons. After the completion of Anjiu Chishui Wine Valley, it will achieve an annual output of 30,000 tons of soy sauce aroma style liquor, 60,000 tons of high-quality hard liquor made with yeast at high temperature and 180,000 tons of liquor stored in pottery vats.
